Stormzy giving £10M to dark British causes more than 10 years

English rapper Stormzy is giving 10 million pounds (more than $12,590,000) to UK-based causes that enable individuals of color throughout the following decade. 

"The awkward truth that our nation consistently neglects to perceive and concede is that individuals of color in the UK have been at a steady hindrance in each part of life – just because of the shade of our skin," the 26-year-old disclosed to The Guardian in an announcement on Thursday. 

The "Own It" rapper proceeded, "I'm sufficiently fortunate to be in the position I'm in and I've heard individuals regularly excuse the possibility of bigotry existing in Britain by saying, 'If the nation's so supremacist how have you become a triumph?!' 

"I dismiss that with this: I am not the UK's brilliant illustration of what as far as anyone knows happens when an individual of color buckles down. There are a great many us. We are not far and few." 

He added that individuals need to stand up and shut down the fundamental prejudice that continues. 

"We need to battle against the chances of a bigot framework stacked against us and intended for us to come up short from before we are even conceived," he said. "Individuals of color have been playing on a lopsided field for a really long time and this vow is a continuation in the battle to at last attempt and even it." 

A week ago, Stormzy was seen partaking in a Black Lives Matter dissent in London and has a long history of being vocal in his position against racial shamefulness.
